Hello family,
Every so often I will write to you from the bottom of my heart, what the Lord has placed on my spirit.
Jesus laid out two commandments that we are required to keep IF we truly love God.
Love God and Love our Neighbor *as Christ has loved us*.
This second commandment is a bigger deal than most people realize. The love that Christ has for us is great. It’s a responsibility to love a neighbor even if she may not love herself.
When I think of the woman who committed adultery and was nearly stoned by her community, the love of Jesus in its infinite capacity enveloped her so much so that everyone with a stone, from the oldest all the way to the youngest, dropped their stone and walked away.
You see, we have a responsibility to share a word to every soul being condemned by the World that there is Mercy in the name of Jesus.
We have a responsibility to enter the prison and jail systems and say even though the world condemned you to this place, Jesus has prepared a mansion for you.
We have a responsibility to those struggling with sin, knowing deep down that they want to rid themself of the urge and the guilt that come thereafter, they have access to the powers of the Holy Ghost, to accept a light that will send the darkness of that sin out of their life.
Don’t get me wrong, we also have a responsibility to call out and rebuke sin.
But…
“Physician Heal Thyself.” – Luke 4:23
We must first heal ourselves of the very thing we want to heal others of.
I’ve been through some things in my lifetime. Delt with some demons. Waged spiritual warfare.
Going through it, I never thought the outcome of it would be a platform to preach God’s word. But as one person shared with me a testimony of this ministry.
‘That experience that you have is what makes your ministry genuine. Not just a “this is what you should do because the bible says so.” Yours is, “I’ve been thru things and God has showed up.”‘
I want to encourage you in the Lord, keep your hunger for the Word. Keep your heart filled with love. Let the Spirit have its way in your life, and watch the impact you will make for this generation.
Whatever you’re going through, I promise you it’s for the Glory of God.
I love you all.
O.K.
